This activity can be used as a warmer or filler and is based on a famous critical thinking exercise. It works well for young adults, but I guess might also be tried out with children and teenagers. It can be used as a game or even a small competition between groups if you want to use it as a stirrer in your lesson.
Main focus: speaking. How: students can work in pairs or in smaller groups. Instructions:Players debate which of the things is better! Give students some time to think of good arguments. After the "mini debate" the class can vote on the one/the group that has the most convincing arguments.
