Some forms of the PIE word for 'right' containing an unexpected *-i- in the suffix (*dek̑si-wo-, *dek̑si-tero-, *dek̑si-no-) are explained as based on adv. *dek̑si 'at the right side'. For 'naked' Beekes rejects taboo deformations and assumes instead that *nog
w-no- > *noŋ
w-no- underwent an assimilation to *ŋoŋ
w-no- > γυμνός.
